Fuzzy Butts Rescue was started by one person who took her love of animals to another step. We have a group of volunteers dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re homing of neglected/homeless dogs and cats. We make the commitment to each animal to resolve any health or behavioral issues and to find the best home for his/her particular needs. Our animals stay with us until they find a permanent home. We are not a shelter (so please call to make an appointment to see one of our animals)- all of our rescues are kept in our own homes or in foster homes. Our goal is to keep animals off of the streets and off euthanasia lists. Our long term goal is to educate the public about the necessity of spaying /neutering and that animals are family members not an object that can be disposed of or mistreated.
All of the animals currently residing at Fuzzy Butts Rescue have been examined by a veterinarian, spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, and are up to date with vaccinations, PRIOR TO ADOPTION. Each has been treated for fleas, worms, and ear mites as needed. The animals that come to us have suffered lives of abuse, neglect, and abandonment. We do not have any knowledge of their history prior to entry into Fuzzy Butts Rescue. Our goal is to place each animal in a home that most suits its needs. Please email us for an adoption application. This will need to be completed before any visit to our foster homes. Once completed, we will set up an appointed time for you to meet each of our animals looking for homes. If a match is made, you will fill out an adoption contract, have a home evaluation and then receive all of the medical papers for your new pet. We request an adoption donation in order to help defray veterinary expenses. Donations for dogs/cats vary per animal.
